Urban Aesthetics by Fin DAC

Fin D.A.C. has defined and perfected an atypical paint/stencil style that ignores the accepted visual language of street art almost completely. He calls it 'Urban Aesthetics' - a modern-day take on a 19th century art movement. A self-taught and non-conformist artist, Fin DAC's realist work and skilled stencilling has earned him an incredibly successful solo show in 2010 and has made him a regular fixture in high end gallery shows. He is also dedicated to putting his work on the streets which is now all over the world from Bogota to Berlin.

Buddha Birthday Lantern Festival

In Corea del Sud, a Busan, seconda città più popolata del paese, ogni anno va in scena un festival molto luminoso il “Buddha Birthday Lantern Festival”, in cui si festeggia il compleanno di Buddha. Nel mese di maggio, all'interno della cornice meravigliosa del Tempio Samgwangsa, una moltitudine di lanterne colorate inondano gli spazi interni ed esterni per un effetto scenico incredibile. Le lanterne sono il simbolo di valori come la saggezza, che porterà luce nel mondo, la meditazione e la libertà, molte lanterne hanno la forma del fiore di loto, che nel buddismo rappresenta la purezza, l'illuminazione ed il benessere.
